Four days. Close to the ground. Close to yourself. An immersive movement and connection practice at Samahita Retreat, Thailand.
For four days we come together in Koh Samui to practice, cultivate a sense of calm and rediscover the value of community.
We move. We breathe. We spend time by the ocean. We share meals, conversations and moments that rarely find space in everyday life.
Our practice is grounded in movement and East philosophy. Bodyweight strength and mobility, structure, breathwork and play. Two sessions daily, structured and alive. Not taught from a script. Built from decades of training, exploration and one recurring question:
What actually works?
Three facilitators. Different backgrounds, different practices, each shaped through years of exploration and teaching. What connects us is a shared belief that practice matters. Not because it makes us better. Because it helps us remember what is important.
The intention is not to give you another system to follow, but to help you deepen your own relationship with practice. To listen more carefully to the body, trust your own experience and discover what emerges when there is space to pay attention.
The days are structured, but never rushed. There is space to practice, space to rest and space to simply be.
This is what ReTribe has always been about.
A nature explorer and whisperer. A person who walks mountains alone for days carrying nothing. He brings yin yoga and somatic practice rooted in stillness and landscape. His sessions create depth and inner space. The complement to effort. The place where the body finally listens.
Leads the practice. Founder of ReTribe and the RE²AL method. Four decades of practice across movement, weightlifting, martial arts, yoga and breathwork. Based in Lisbon. His practice is his dojo. What he teaches, he has lived.
Holds the space. Visionary, shape shifter, keen observer of practice. Artist, martial artist, spirit doula and embodied facilitator based in Hong Kong. Her work lives at the intersection of ceremony, presence and inner transformation. She opens the group and keeps it coherent.
A frame, not a schedule. Each day moves between effort and stillness, practice and rest, with space to integrate what surfaces.
Beachview on the quiet south coast of Koh Samui, surrounded by towering coconut palms. One hundred metres of direct, undisturbed beach. Open shalas, healthy food included, alcohol free. One of the most grounded practice venues in Southeast Asia.
Light through the canopy. Sea breeze under the shala roof. The kind of place where the body remembers how to slow down.
Everything you need to move, recover and go inward, steps from the sea.

Cosy, sustainable rooms designed in harmony with nature. Natural light and ventilation, air conditioning, mosquito screens, fridge and kettle, with private or shared bathrooms. Choose beachview or garden, in private, semi-private or shared. Tell us your room preference when you reserve.
Private, semi-private and shared options, in both beachview and garden. A deposit on Momence holds your place; your room and balance are arranged with the team after.
Three nights, four days. We close Tuesday at midday, leaving time to make your way onward to Wonderfruit, which opens Thursday 3 December.
